I'm watching D-Day (korean drama) tv series right now. Its about an earthquake that took place in Seoul, Korea. When a natural disaster strikes Seoul, a team of medical doctors and emergency personnel struggle to deal with its aftermath and help save the victims who suffered from the disasterThe whole city becomes paralyzed. All authorities were trying their best to help those in needs. The medical team consist of Dr. Lee Hae Sung, Dr. Jung Ddol Mi, Nurse Park Ji Na and Sister Kim Hyun Sook. Dr. Lee Hae Sung after transferred to Hanggang Mirae Branch, a health screening hospital, started to set up an emergency room there with the help of others to help patients and earthquake's victims. Jung Ddol Mi is a resident of Orthopaedic from Busan Hospital. She is lack of knowledge and experiences. Thus, she can only help with the guide from Lee Hae Sung. Nurse Park Jina helps Jung Ddol Mi to treat the patients as she also became like a doctor due to lack of medical staffs at the centre. The victims are blaming them for unable to safe some of their relatives and family, but they can't do much as the entire Seoul had water and electric supplies suspended, even the hydrants doesn't work to extinguish the fire.

While watching these series, I was thinking.. if I were there how would I survive there? How am I gonna help the patients and those victims. Even though I learnt medicine, but I'm afraid that my knowledge is still not enough. I feel stupid when I watch these series. I don't even know how to conduct an emergency first aid, leave alone taking decision during emergency. I still afraid to withdraw blood from patient. Oh my ! *sigh* I've been through this kind of feeling. Feeling of being incompetent doctors. During my 2nd professional exam in 2nd year of Medicine course. I feel so stupid for having not enough knowledge and lack in practices.

I will change these things. I'll study hard and more focus after these. No wonder they said Korean and Japanese are known as hardworking people,
