INSTANT & SIMPLE KIMCHI JIGGAE RECIPE FROM MALAYSIA
Hi geng, so today I’m gonna share with you how to make simple kimchi jiggae/kimchi stew at home. I’m a student too, I understand the situation where you really want to eat kimchi jiggae but not enough pocket money and also no time to go any mall or shop to buy it. Thus, I’m helping you out to make life much easier muehehehehe.
This recipe is not my own invention but thanks to my pretty housemate; Liyana, I manage to eat it at home. It’s much easier and cheaper ! (From my point of view)
You dun need so much ingredients to make this stew. All you need is KIMCHI!! And also a chilli paste to make it more tasty.
Ingredients:
1. Kimchi. I use Ilmi Trading Kimchi brand.
2. Chilli paste. I use Korean Chilli Paste (Gochujang)
3. Tofu
4. Enoki mushrooms
5. Egg
6. Soun noodle (Boiled until soft)
7. Sesame oil
8. Salt
9. Chicken / Beef
ENOKI MUSHROOM
SOUN NOODLE
1) Letak periuk kecik atas dapur. Letak air depend berapa banyak nak buat. Sis selalu letak air sampai hampir penuh periuk. Budget la nnt nak letak ingredients takut tumpah sebab penuh sangat. Boiled the water.
2) Masukkan satu sudu besar paste chilli after air dah mendidih sikit. Ini pun depend berapa banyak air you guys letak tadi.
3) Masukkan kimchi. Inipun ikut banyak mana you guys nak letak and mesti sebati rasa dgn chilli paste yang dah mendidih tadi. Kalau kurang masam, letak sikit air kimchi tu biar kaw.
4) Then letak soun noodle (yang dah lembut) and enoki mushrooms tadi yang dah siap basuh ke dalam periuk. Time ni laaa if you guys nak masukkan ayam or daging boleh masukkan waktu ni.
5) Biar didih sekejap sampai ayam/ daging masak. Then masukkan tofu. I always cut my tofu into small pieces because sis nak biar sebati rasa. Taknak ada rasa tofu tu sgt.
6. Last sekali pecahkan telur dalam periuk tu. Alaa mcm you guys pecahkan telur dalam maggi tuuuu. . Dah siapppp. Now letak garam sikit and sesame oil sikit je (1 sudu kecil). Jgn banyak sangat nnt masam kimchi tu kurang.
Siappppp ! Dah boleh makan. Simple and murah.
