Rasa macam dah lama gila kan sis tak upload new entry regarding k-drama or movies kan? Tambah dengan laptop rosak lagi aduhai kehidupan sis. Last rasa macam drama cina yang sis tergila gilakan (sekarang sis dah tak ingat dah tajuk tv series tu). Okay tak, last rasanya cerita Misty sis tengok kat Viu apps. So now sis kembali ke pangkal jalan with my favorite genre - thriller and crime.

So, sebulan sis busy studying for Professional Exam III, Alhamdulillah sis kini officially a 5th year medical student ! My point is astaga banyaknya k-drama yang sis dah tinggal. Banyak drama baru released ibarat cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan, gituuu. So here one ongoing of k-drama yang sis tengah tengok. Ada lagi satu but yang tu later since episode 1 and 2 kinda slow and suck sis berdoa ada plot twist yang menarik and pace dia jadi laju sikit.

The Ghost Detective ni sis tertarik dengan laki tu dah macam Sherlock Holmes, full of mystery yet macam sakai tapi very attentive ! Sis baru tengok sampai episode. Currently dah released till episode 5 on Dramanice. Check it out !

Plot Synopsis

Have you ever watch this K-series ? I watched 1st episode and all I can felt from this episode was gloomy and dark. I can relate to Go Hye Ran’s personalities. The name sound so familiar to me. That name should portray a good, cheerful person unlike the one in the series. Go Hye Ran (Kang Nam Joo) is so firm, so merciless woman who protect her position as an anchor fiercely. There are people like that in our society. She is so successful, sadly her family is a mess and her marriage is being on the rocks. Her husband, Kang Tae Wook (Jin Jin-hee) works as a lawyer, previously he was a successful prosecutor. In episode 1, the story line portray there is still hope in their marriage. The husband still care about his wife. He still look at her with warm eyes, yet he don’t want to reach for her hand. I think, he frustrated with Hye Ran because the wife dun want to have baby tho their age already 35 years old. Imagine married for long yet no babies? The house is so quite and gloomy (how many time did I say gloomy now ?

He saw Hye Ran’s old picture in his desktop, smiling so cheerful like she’s the happiest woman on earth. Unlike now, she rarely smile. If she smile, it would be that sarcastic smile. She swallow all the hatred and criticism from her colleagues and seniors at work. She dun has any best friends to share her problems. I pity her.

Okay, I’m at episode 2 now. Whoaaa, imagine the one that can save your position from getting snatched away is your ex boyfriend that you ditched because he’s just an average guy ? Shell bomb kau ! Go Hye Ran was just standing there, in disbelief state. Kevin Lee is Lee Jae Young? And plus, he is married to her high school classmate. Mannn, poor her.

She got the chance to do exclusive interview live with Kevin Lee. Yet, man.. looks like battle of emotions gonna take place in the studio, with Kevin Lee’s wife, the whole staffs observe them nervously and not to mention, the whole Korean citizen. Her career is on verge, she’s willingly to do anything it takes to secure her position as News 9’s main anchor (not gonna give it to her junior, Han Ji Won).

Oh my! Did you watch episode 3 already ? Who knows Go Hye Ran has that soft side of her ? She’s the one who waits for her husband on their first date (her husband never knew). Gosh!

She loves her husband but she loves her career more. She need her husband to support her yet he failed to understand her needs (on her opinion wise). Tae Wook loves her wife dearly. But he could not forgive her for what she has done 7 years ago. She did abortion of their 1st child for the sake of anchor audition. After that, their marriage became doom. Tae Wook turn cold shoulder against his wife as the wife didn’t show any guilty or regret manner toward him.

In this episode, Tae Wook sense something going on between Hye Ran and Kevin Lee. He follows Hye Ran to Thailand quietly and surprise the wife there. Meanwhile, Hye Ran and Kevin Lee were kissing in her own bedroom ! WTH. And she managed to get her brain back (she’s stupid) right before her husband arrived unexpectedly at the hotel. Pheww, she’s saved by the hotel staff. I think Kevin’s wife, Eun Soo started to be suspicious toward her husband. Kevin had an affair with Ha Ji Won although he is married and he still has lingering feelings toward Hye Ran. This guy is the definition of ‘guy is trash’.

OMGG episode 5 could make your heart goes tachycardia ! So many plot twist, so many assumptions can be made. Now I’m suspecting Eun Joo and Ha Ji Won. She seems suspicious now. Felt like gonna skip all episodes and watch the last episode ! I’m so curious to know who kill Kevin tho he deserve to die hahaha but.. oh well, according to law, nothing can justify violence.

Episode 6: Variables
Autopsy showing ambiguous result. It could be car accident, it could be homocide. The forensic doctor thinks multiple fracture of parietal bone resulted from hitting the steering wheel while the detective think that Kevin Lee was hit with a brick by someone. The detective is asked to bring the variables that could break the possibilities in order to issue search warrant for Go Hye Ran.

In this episode, Go Hye Ran seems suspicious. As if she is hiding something or scheming something. So do Eun Joo. She was quite - not that usual quite type of person we normally see.... more like... quite but her mind is running wild. She looks calm when her husband died. She cried, but oddly calm. I’m not sure but there’s something off about her. Hope there’s plot twist later on. She could be the one who kill her husband, who knows ? She tried to cover her husband death. She don’t want people talking about her husband death plus, she don’t want people talking about Hye Ran. Actually, Eun Joo and Hye Ran were bestfriend or not ? Eun Joo claimed Hye Ran was her bestfriend during high school and she knew most of Hye Ran’s secrets. But Hye Ran denied it saying Eun Joo was only her classmate and she only knows her by name. Yet her attitude toward Eun Joo is not like just classmate ? She care for Eun Joo, not sure what’s on Hye Ran’s mind.

Tae Wook finally made decision he will trust his wife and made up with her. They were hugging at the basement parking lot. Awhhh.
There was a scene showing Hye Ran and Kevin in her car at midnight. Hye Ran said she loves Kevin but she need her husband. I assumed it was her husband background that she need. Poor Tae Wook. My instinct say she’s scheming something. I think she wanted to blackmailed Kevin but too late, Kevin died. The detective became more suspicious toward Hye Ran because her black box suddenly disappear. She said she didn’t know about it yet.. idk all these seems weird to me. She knew she has black box that would record all her thingy with Kevin that night (There were making out in the car LOL) and Kevin was found dead that morning and her black box disappear ? How ?

Tbh, my pro final exam is around the corner and I’m addicted to this drama hahaha wth. Please let me pass this year 😭

Another Lee Joon Ki's drama ! Hahaha, most of his drama mesti acah acah bajet gila, tapi menjadilah sebab dia pandai buat expression muka suit to the character. This time, dia jadi lawyer pulak. Last time dia jadi raja, SWAT team and now lawyer la pulak. Hahaha. After aku tengok dia jadi guest kat RunningMan, dah tahu lah dia ni kat luar macam mana orangnya. Cheeky and always acah handsome, berkarisma gitu tapi tak de lah menyampah ke apa. Rasa terhibur je tengok dia berlakon. His charm maybe.

Plot
